From our trip to New York in July 2018 – a stairway at Ellis Island. My entry in Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge – Corners (CBWC). Thanks for visiting!

      1. I bet it is. Maybe if it had people on it, but it has so much history. My husband was talking about his family that came over from Italy through Ellis Island. They probably walked those stairs. πŸ™‚

      2. The whole building is great – the architecture is fabulous, it’s amazing to see the detail the builders put into the first building new immigrants would see on arrival in NY. Not on the same scale as Grand Central Station, of course, but I was impressed. We certainly don’t have that type of architecture where I live!
